Overview
You will complete 2 Article Analysis Assignments in this course. This assignment will allow you to hone-in your skills in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of scholarly research. Each analysis aids in how you will understand and articulate basic concepts of public finance and budgeting from a biblical worldview. The assignment also requires you to have enhanced understanding of the role of budgeting in the administration of government and non-profit organizations. As part of developing practitioners in the field of public administration, you will develop enhanced writing and analysis skills. Additionally, you will learn to connect concepts from scholarly journal articles to practical application.
Instructions
You will prepare a 1,000-word critique of a budgetary article.In the critique, prepare a summary of the article and include your thoughts on how that article adds to the Module: Week’s readings or the Discussions prompt.
In the second portion of the analysis, you will write a critique that identifies:the strengths
weaknesses, and
the effectiveness of the article
You may select a budget article from the LU databases that is no older than 5 years and
you must include 7–9 scholarly references in current APA format.
